The 1001Tracklists alternative that works on any mix
1001Tracklists is a database of sets other people have already identified. setlist.id is for the sets they have not.
Identify My Mix1001Tracklists and setlist.id solve the same problem differently
Last updated
1001Tracklists is the biggest crowdsourced database of DJ tracklists on the internet, and it covers famous sets well. Festival main stages, flagship radio shows, and headline club nights get documented quickly by its community, sometimes including unreleased IDs that no software can name.
If the set in front of you is a local opener, a promo mix from a mid-size label, a five-year-old podcast episode, or your own recording, there is probably no page for it. Even well-documented sets can keep ID placeholders for months.
Instead of waiting for a human who happens to know the track, setlist.id fingerprints the audio itself: paste the link, the complete recording is analyzed in overlapping segments by our own recognition algorithm, and the tracklist comes back in minutes with a timestamp on every identified track.
You do not have to take the output on trust: setlist.id publishes what it identifies. Every public set carries its full tracklist with a timestamp on each track, and the same catalogue reads by DJ or channel and by festival, club night or radio show.

When to use which
Check 1001Tracklists first when the set is famous. If a main-stage festival set or a flagship radio show already has a complete community tracklist, it is free to read and may even name unreleased IDs that fingerprinting cannot touch.
setlist.id is for when there is no page, when the page is full of ID placeholders, or when the mix is too new or too obscure to get community attention.
Frequently asked questions
Is setlist.id a replacement for 1001Tracklists?
They solve the same problem in different ways. 1001Tracklists is a free community database that is excellent for famous sets. setlist.id generates a tracklist from the audio of any mix you paste, including the many mixes no community has documented.
Can setlist.id identify the tracks 1001Tracklists lists as ID?
Often, yes. Many ID placeholders are obscure or recently released tracks nobody recognized by ear, and our own algorithm is built to find deep underground tracks like those. Unreleased tracks cannot be identified by any tool until they come out.
Are my tracklists published publicly like on 1001Tracklists?
Often, yes. Once a tracklist passes our quality bar it gets its own public page, like the ones in the catalogue; the page never names the account that ran it, and a private SoundCloud link is never published.
How much does setlist.id cost?
You buy hours and spend them on whatever you paste: 1 hour of identification time covers 1 hour of audio, with a 15-minute minimum. Bundles are 5 hours $6, 20 hours $22, 100 hours $100 in US dollars, checkout shows your own currency, and hours never expire. Any part of a mix that cannot be identified is refunded automatically, and a mix that fails outright is refunded in full. Larger volumes are available via the contact page.
